He Must Increase

Fat and Frantic were a christian band, who were around from the mid 1980s to the early 1990s. They produced a number of albums, and performed at various venues, including the Greenbelt Festival. Does anyone else remember them? Does anyone know what happened to them?

Does anyone remember 'Meet Jesus Music' [from even earlier...]? And Nutshell? Both played Greenbelt late seventies - both came to our Youth Club yearly bash, as did Parchment.

Ahhh - a blast from the past! Yeah - I remember them. Saw them at Greenbelt too, I was there the same years as CS below - Knebworth then Castle Ashby. I still have the 10-year special program at home.

(Strangely - my now wife was camped about 20 yards from me that year - 85 - but was in a different church and we didn't know each other then).

And if we are going on about nostalgia, anyone see After The Fire (ATF) in their early days? My brother and i had EVERY single record they released including the live EPs. Personally I preferred the prog rock stuff they started off with rather than the poppy stuff later on. A friend of mine (Tim Hatwell) was one of their early bass players, from what he told me.

Perhaps this opens up a new thread 'where are they now'?
