hi vic, first look at your motives re gigs is it to reach the lost etc ? if so what a good way going to where the people are thats what jesus would do. God has to be in the driving seat but you are well aware of that . i just feel check your motives and if they right yes test doors and believe God will open those that need to be open and shut those that need to be shut .bless you will pray for you

Hi,
We have a new guy playing with us for the first time on Sunday morning, Andy. He is a really good guitar player but nervous as first time playing at our church (He moved a few months ago now) so prayer would be good that all goes well and that he is relaxed and really enjoys it!

Cheers

My friend Chris and I (Gracious G) are considering if we should start pushing on doors to get gigs. We are also considering including an out and out worship song in a pub set, something like: Jesus, Lover of My Soul, the Paul Oakley one.
The main issue is if we look for gigs then we could start thinking we're doing this and forget it's God who is in the driving seat.

Please pray for our mission of witness and I'm sure one or more of you have a prophesy for us.

I will be leading worship in a week for the first time at church... I would value your payers for the preparation and leading. I tend to leave everything for the last minute. I know God will help me as I'm asking him to... but I'm still stessing about it. Thanks!

Feels like a bit of a small one compared to lots of others on here but still - my long term girlfriend (we were soul mates) has gone off to uni. We're still together and we're still going strong, things are going okay, but I am still struggling at times to keep going. I need to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Endure hardship as discipline etc etc. But yeah, would appreciate all the prayers we can get at the moment. Thanks fam.

Finally got the green light on the new Youth Group - starting Sunday evening @ 7.30pm...
More or less all set - just waiting for the access point and wireless booster to set up the internet cafe bit!
And cold feet doesn't even begin to describe the feeling... so all prayers gratefully received, 'cos I'm beginning to wonder what on earth I've let us all in for!

Would you please prayer for us as house group leaders. WE have made a step of faith and moving out of the house because we have grown to over 30 so can't accommodate anymore and hiring a room in local community centre. The core team is meeting there on 12th August to pray and claim the ground then prayer walk the estate and put a wooden stake in the ground to signify the ground and area is now for God. Please pray that we will have wisdom and listen to God's voice as we move out commencing in Sept. COlin and Stella
