Hi all, have just joined this group and have 5 songs on my page, the last of which " Dancing In Heaven " was actually written for my dads funeral but has been a real help to my family and others who have suffered loss. You may think they are terrible, but I need to have feedback to learn! So would appreciate any comments!

Thought I'd try this out with a song off my album which is now nearly 10 years old! Then, I went under the name 'Julie Lord' as that was the name I used for secular gigs - I had to change it for security reasons ( the agent insisted!). Anyway, I've killed her off now, and go by my real name - it's a great deal easier, and my husband is happier :-)

My first song, now on my profile, isn't so much a song as a Bible reading (Isaiah 11:1-10) set to simple music. Originally I wanted to do it live but decided that it might be easier (or at least a project to help me learn my recording software better) to create the track in advance.

Hello, so sorry, just to explain about "Creation vs Evolution mk 1". This was a song written in response to a comment on the "I wish there was a song about...." thread. You can find the lyrics at the end of that thread. It won't win any prizes for the tune, nor the quality of the vocals.

Sorry for bringing down the overall quality of the site. All my other songs are much more serious worship songs.....

I uploaded a couple of songs this morning, and will probably upload a few more at some point. Like many others here, I try to write songs for use in church worship setting... so if anything grabs you (well, I can hope....) then I can supply pdfs of sheet music. Any feedback very welcome.

I have added another song to my page. Standing at the cross, recorded on Good Friday 2008 during a hail storm Includes real thunder and hail picked up inadvertantly on the overhead mics on the drums!
