Yes the best book I ever read on worship was exploring worship by bob sorge, it looks at everything, what is worship, praise etc. Role of a worship leader, qualities etc & some practicle tips too.
Give it a try, god bless
Gav
I'm Gavin, was worship leader for 10 years at a christian fellowship in Clackmannanshire until Dec when the church closed.
Now seeking God for the future plans HE has for me.
Go for it guys, lead and serve God with all your heart. He will bless you abundantly. The greatest blessing for me over the years was to see people just worshiping and adoring their saviour, thats what it's all about.
Stay in Stirling and work for the MOD

Hi Gavin, were all okay, sort of. Really missing Jim and my mum, some days better than others. It's always easier when your eyes are fixed on Jesus and not your troubles. Pat has a disk problem in her back at the moment, over a week in bed. Two Disks are crumbling on one side and small shards of bone are irritating her siatic nerve. Very painful, so please keep her in your prayers.
Dorothy is at Paisley University in 1st year of her Nursing degree and is setting her first big exam as I write this. Kids all well and being, well kids.
Guess who I met in November in England, down by Manchester......
Only Sally. She is on Worship Academy, Group 7. I've been on academy for over a year now, infact I finish in July this year. It's fantastic, challenging and very insightful into who we are as worshipers. The Catch prase for the lack of a better expression by Chris Bowater in, "Academy looks at the man in ther ministry, before it looks at the ministry in the man".
It's well worth the commitment. Trying to bring it up to Scotland.
Hey Gavin how's things. It's Steven from Renfrew Christian Fellowship.
I was looking through the cotland section and found your pic.
I'm sorry to hear about your Church situation. Praying you find Gods path for your feet. Rest in him just now as I'm sure you are.
Found a church yet? You'll be more than welcome at Stirling Baptist Church in Murray Place. If you can make it there this Sunday I'll be playing bass at the 11:30 service, and leading the 6:30. Come and say hi.
Hi Gav, Nice to meet you. Yeah, It's Pastor Ron and Alice. Ronnie's great. He's a nutter, but he's great! The Church is doing well, growing steadily and God is working in and through the people there. Well i hope you find where God wants you to be- will send up a prayer for you.
If you know of anywhere who would like to host a concert sometime in your area, give me a shout and we can arrange something. keep in touch. Bob.
