I don't consider myself very musical (I don't read music), but I've always loved singing and worshiping God. During the last 3 or 4 years I've been part of a vocal band (14 to 16 members) in Gold Hill Baptist Church, and with a great voice coach as our leader I have become more confident and have learnt so much (even harmonizing a little)! I'm now starting afresh, with my husband, in a new church, and have joined their worship group of course!
I come from France (although I'm half English, half Hungarian) and married an Irishman!
I work with cancer patients in a Day Unit, doing creative stuff. I love it... and no it's not a sad place to work in.
Favourite Music
I love anything that I'm currently singing: Matt Redman, Stuart Townend, Graham Kendrick and many more I don't know the names of!
Don Francisco, Ian White, Martyn Joseph... from the past.
Jonathan Veira
Favourite Bible Verses / Passages
Zephaniah 3:17
"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with SINGING."
We used to sing scales to "Zephaniah 3:17!!!

Hi there. I saw a comment you made on another page mentioning a David Peacock. I recognise that name from somewhere and its bugging me that I can't remember where from! Could you put me out of my misery and tell me where you know him from? Its probably a friend of a friend thing! Hope you are enjoying things on here. I've found it a great resource along with REsound worship.org.

Hi Julia - no you don't need to be the worship leader or the one picking the songs! I have posted quite a few on here from our worship team - and I don't pick the songs! It's helpful to see what songs others are doing in their teams - doesn't matter who picks them :-) Looking forward to seeing yours on here! Phil

Hi Julia,
welcome to this site it's great.
I've ventured to Watford on a few occasions to those nice people at Soul Survivor (Greycaine Rd), when they used to have seminars on worship, song writing, gifts of the Spirit etc..
I wondered if you have joint them on the odd occasion. I used to take a group of people along and we always had a fantastic time, even wandering down to the chippy became an event. A mob of 100 or so Christians all swarming along the road. We probably picked up the rubbish and cleaned the bus shelters as we went along (Scary huh).
All the best ... Paul
