I'm reading 2 books on the Holy Spirit at the moment. Neither are very new, but both are excellent from what I've read so far.

I'm glad you found things helpful.
I wasn't trying to suggest that you were trying to sound Texan - sometimes I hate these online things. They never give any impression of how someone is "speaking" or the tone of voice they would use in a conversation! Apologies :-)
One final piece of encouragement (which you know, but is good to hear again) - God wants to hear your voice/your church sing His praise, with His song that He just inspired someone else to write.
