About Me:

Married to my beautiful childhood sweetheart of 10 years and who is due our first baby any minute now! Currently finishing a PhD in Bioinformatics (hmm indeed!) at the University of Edinburgh. Member of a fantastic, vibrant, Hebraic church, also as assistant worship leader. Passions are seeing God revealed all over the world (particular heart for Africa) and standing before Jesus one day to give a good account of a race run well :0)

A(nother) child is born!

Well baby Rory was born at 19:03 on the 19th December 11 days late but bang on time!

Mummy is a bit sore after a 24 hour labour and then emergency section due to him becoming stuck, in turn largely due to his whopping size - 8lbs 12!

Mother and baby both doing well and arrived home a few hours ago and are now both fast asleep in their own beds. Praise God we can now properly start our new life as a family together....

Worship - that thing we do...?

Hey, cool website. This is my first post, sorry it’s a bit of a long ‘un but I have this on my heart to tell – God kinda knocked me a long way sideways with it this week.

We're doing really well - Joshua is growing at a scary rate of kgs, but is really laid back and contented. We're playing him all sorts of different music, but the only thing he really seems to enjoy is his wind-up mechanical rabbit !!

Claire-Lise gave birth to a beautiful boy on WXednesday, Joshua, 7 lbs 4 with lovely piano-playing fingers... It went fairly smoothly, though I take my hat off to every woman who gives birth - not pleasant!! It's an incredible and awe-inspiring experience, and my gratitude to God unlimitless..
