About Me:
Haven't been on here for ages (thanks Evelyn!) so everthing has moved on in my life a little since my last visit. All is well, still working away at Riverside Church at Stirling, heading up the worship there and doing a little preaching. Just about to start a Theology degree (distance learning) which will be wild :) haven't recorded much recently, there are some things rolling around inside me, but what i have recorded you can listen to at www.myspace.com/stuartlawsonmusic. I've got a fantastic team around me and we are seeing God do amazing things in our midst...bring on more of that.
Favourite Music
I love heaps of stuff, like Leeland, Starfield, Delirious, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Brooke Fraser...and a thousand more names....
Favourite Books / Authors
The Tiger Who Came to Tea :) it has everythin: drama, a tiger, some tea...
Favourite Bible Verses / Passages
Let your light shine amongst men, that allmay see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Whoa

Hi Stuart
I've been reading through various forums and I see you have a Variax. I set up a group for Variax users a couple of days ago and wondered if you'd join in. It is such a different instrument that it's good to share other peoples experiences.

All the best.

Hey, thanks for your comments, have a few more songs ready to put on but they're not in mp3 format so the website won't let me load them on! I like you songs btw, sound really good:) There's no drummer in my church at the mo so I have no one to play drums to my songs at the mo, so am a little limited with more lively songs i've written, nevermind! Hi there Stuart!
I've uploaded another of Jamies songs.
If you get chance to have a listen, let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy this one too.
Have a good weekend!

Once again, thanks Stuart!
Yes, I think Matt's got quite a gift for it as you say.
The week's starting well, "working from home" today!
Have a good one too mate!

Thanks for the comments Stuart, glad you like it.
We've not used Adoration much at our church but the one I've just added is quite a regular at the mo.
The recording quality is remarkable considering how we did it. It was recorded on a very old laptop with borrowed mics, a small Behringer mixer and only one pair of headphones for monitoring, so hardly a pro set up! Jamies bro Matt recorded and produced it.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words, I'll pass your comments on to the boys!
Cheers
Rob

Just uploaded another of Jamie Cs songs if your interested. This is one we've been using quite a bit a our church, works very well.
I apologies for the Keith Scott (Bryan Adams) guitar solo. I only know 4 good solos and thats one of 'em :-)
Let me know what you think (of the song, not the solo!) if you get chance to have a listen.
Cheers for now

Hi Stuart - we actually already have a group for recording called 'Recording Worship'. Can you please join this one and post the question in there so all these discussion are in one place? Probably best to then delete the group.

Thanks,

Phil
