"My Heart is filled with Thankfulness" - Stuart Townend and Keith Gettywhat an amazing song!!! The sheet music is downloadable from kingsway music, I'm not sure where you could get an mp3 or anything from though it may be on a compilation album of modern hymns (i think my mother has it)

yep, I use this a lot. You can get the sheet music: No 44 in NewSongs 2004/05. (and probably in the SoF4 book!)
its covered on the 2005/05 Newsongs CD's (no 14 on CD 2)

Not immediately recent (?) but love the Brian Doerksen song 'You Shepherd me'. i was hoping it would be in the New Wine 07 album and songbook but it is not. I know his website has chords, but there is a comfort thing with dots as well.

Another BD one (in fact i love most of his stuff...) is Fortress 144. Same problem, no music yet.

Rush of Fools is an amazing band. I was sent their album recently and I have to say it was incredible! Can't Get Away, Undo and Already are my favourites, they have amazing lyrics. the whole album has incredible lyrics actually. I really love it.

We used Stuart Townend & Keith Getty's "Communion Hymn" on Sunday (you can get it from kingswaysongs.com), we mixed it in with the Eucharistic prayer liturgy (effectively sung the verses as responses to the liturgy) and it worked really well! If you want to know how we did it let me know and I'll email you the words.

Brian & Jenn Johnson's "Where You Go I'll Go" is one of the most impacting songs of the past year for me. It is a strong, bold confession of throwing your whole life into obedience to what God is saying moment by moment. Even better is that they have made it available as a free MP3 download from their website!

Downloaded the two free songs off of their web-site a few days ago and can't stop listening to them. AWESOME!!! Two really freash idea and images in expressing Jesus love for us and our obeience to him.
