Sunday 7th September
A shorter service this morning due to baptisms taking place on the beach (we'll just try and ignore the force 5 winds!!)

Come now is the time to worship
This is my desire
Over all the earth

My Redeemer Lives (I know he rescued my soul)

From yesterday morning:

How great is our God
From the heighest of heights
I lift my eyes up
I will give you all my worship (chorus)
Lord I come to You

Jesus be the centre
Be thou my vision

Evening service set, following baptism on beach (see Viv's post above!). Service theme was "faith under trial" followed by prayer ministry.

O happy day
Strength will rise
Our God Saves
God of this City
Before the throne of God above

(during ministry)
We stand and lift up our hands
Great is the Lord
Whole world in His hands - Tim Hughes
Blessed be the name of the Lord (For He is our rock) - Vineyard

The overall theme yesterday morning was "Mission". I decided to focus on the verses about "The Great Commission", reminding people that our message is delivered in the name of the Father, Son and Spirit (since we so often end up just singing about Jesus).

Jesus, Jesus, Holy and Anointed One
I Believe in Jesus
Friend of Sinners
There is a Voice That Must Be Heard
Reading: Mt 28:18-20
Let Your Living Water Flow Over My Soul
Father, Let Me Dedicate
Let Everything That Has Breath
Offering: Wash Me Clean

After the sermon, we followed up with:

Let the Power of the Lord Come Down
The Die Has Been Cast
Don't Let My Love Grow Cold

Wulf
