Jesus Culture albums - 'we cry out' & 'your love never fails'
Just wondering if any of you have come across the Jesus Culture movement in Reading California. They are the student wing of Bethel Church Reading CA.
I came across them by accident but have been blown away by the energy, passion and rawness to the worship and the music alike. I tend to find it harder to engage with worship albums if they are overly polished and produced. These two albums are by no means polished or overproduced and allow each song room for repeats and inspirational spontaneous songs etc.
The great thing is that I was able to buy them on itunes for under £8 each.
There version of 'how he loves us' has been taking youtube by storm

I've had a look at the YouTube video and it didn't totally grab me. Maybe it's just the reproduction on this ancient laptop but I prefer Worship Central. Then I have been to that live and being in it rather than watching i
Anyway in the same way the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If it grabs you great if it brings you nearer God then Fantastic.

Yeah, these two albums are brilliant. "Your love never fails" is one of my favourite songs at the moment. We must have about 6 albums from this church now (Here is mo song (K Walker), We cry out, Everything (Jesus Culture), You are good (Bethel worship), You rlove never fails, Undone (B Johnson) and We believe (B Johnson) and they are all very very good. The last 2 are less like the two alums you have described. I totally agree with your description; full of energy and passion. Wonderful. Like many others I went allong to their worship conference in June and the worship in the church is exactly as you find it on the albums.
I'd thoroughly reccomend any of the above albums.
