Wow, that sounds like a totally diferent world than England. Here most worship leaders don't get paid and I imagine that only the top 0.5% of Christian musicians can make a living out of their music.

It's a shame to hear about your band members, I will remember this in prayer.

Bless you mate! (as we say here)

Take care,

Evan

Hi Nick,

Things are good, God's been talking a lot lately.

Otherwise I am working on my website: www.musicosdehoy.com I am hoping that one day it could be a resource for Christian musicians and bands but all in God's time. I'm still building the structure! hehe

Well brother, God will abundantly reward you for leaving home for his cause. What's the weather like? How the worship band coming together, do you practice regularly.

Blessings!

Evan

Hi nick, good to hear "Fall down.." again :) I'm really busy with pending exams from the Argentine seminar which means I'm not writing much lately...

How's it going in your new post?

Blessings!

Hi Nick
We are just staring a new church in Warrington, Cheshire (www.oasis-warrington.org. We have pastored in Scotland for more than 17years but felt called back to the North West of England to begin a new work. Currently we have no worship team at all! Interested? It would not be a paid post, that wouldn't be the norm in the UK. Most worshipleaders are volunteers. We are looking for contemporary, rock. We listen to delirious, Third day, Hillsongs United, RPM. All the best with whatever you do. Jane McMahon

Hey Nick, sorry to dissapear. You´r right about the church trying to impress the world by copying it, the church is already unique, God made it that way! hahah

I´m in Spain at the moment, resting and visiting one of our churches there. How are you doing in your new post, are you there already?

God bless you

Hi Nick
Wonderful! Praise God! Tell me more about the church?

We're doing good. We had the Funday I told you about and a few of us have jsut played at a friend birthday party whcih was fun.

We're heading into the summer season here and that means the church will be low on numbers for a few weeks. We just need to make sure we don't get too laid back in our approach to God. Our young people are heading off to the NewDay conference with a few thousand youngsters from other churches in our family of churches. This has been great for our young people coming back all fired up for God.

All the best.

Well done Nick! God is faithful, he always will be,

I am working with pianos (family business) and putting my heart into the church.

God is talking about serving his church. He lives (or "inhabits") in the praises of his people, thats where God is. I think God is saying: don't focus on the individual: focus on the people, the church. He is coming back for a bride with no spot or wrinkle. When someone raises themselves up they become a crease and un-even wrinkle.

The bible doesn't mention Jesus dying for one person in a singular way too much but more so mentions "God so loved the world" etc.

We have been influenced by the world and try and match up the "coolness" of the church by placing up against the church, does the world have the truth? We should measure up Christian "cool" by what the words says, this should be our passion.

I'm gonna stop preaching now :)

God bless you friend, thought I would share this before you start your ministry. I hope it blesses you. Fill me in.. How did you get it? Let me know how you get on.

God bless you, I'll be praying for you

Hi Nick
No, our church Funday is this coming Sunday 29th. I think festival might be putting it a bit strong! Remember our church only has about 100 or so adult members. We are hoping to get about 500 visitors though. The band are working hard to play as well as we can. Roll on Sunday!
How are you?

Revealing hymself to me, transforming my understanding with his word. I really belive it's a time for me to coil back and get my roots right so I don't grow up wonky.

I hope God guides you Nick, the world's love is growing cold, the further they go away from God who is love the colder they will turn, we have to make the world turn back to him as worship leaders.

We are made to worship and praise, we are made to love him and be loved by him.
