Profile Information

Home Town:
Bury St. Edmunds
Home Church:
Great Barton Free Church (www.gbfc.org.uk)
Musical Gift(s):
I play as many instruments as I can learn, main instrument is acoustic guitar and vocals, also play electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and a very small bit of keys!
About Me:
My name is Tim Goddard, I've led worship for a few years now, and currently am a member of the main morning worship team at GBFC (my home church), playing guitar every week and acting as song leader once a month. Brought up in a christian home, I always had a little bit of faith, but ended up getting involved with drug abuse and alcohol abuse and everything that came with it. However, God really rescued me from it and I have been clean for ages (all glory to Him, never could have done it without Him!). He has now blessed me with more than I could have imagined in relationships, college, my worship leading and passion to see His glory shine in schools aroud the county (Suffolk). I also have my debut album released in July @ Gospel on the green (www.gospelonthegreen.org.uk). I run my own production company called Ark Music Productions, or AMProductions, whilst studying music technology three days a week.
Favourite Christian Music
Oh man, what a question! I love underoath, have to be one of my all time favorite bands let alone favourite christian bands! Of course, grown up with Delirious? so really like them (isn't Kingdom Of Comfort just immense?!), Demon Hunter, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin, Relient K, Emery, Dead Poetic, The Cross Movement, 29th Chapter, Brenton Brown, Taking Names, there's loads more than I can think of right now!!
Favourite Secular Music
The Hoosiers, The Fray, Bullet for my valentine, Trivium, Decapitated, Dream Theatre, Gary Numan, The Feeling, Pendulum, DJ Sebadee, Ko Ka Pelli, A failed Perfection, A fear most fatal, again loads more than I can think of to put in here, I listen to music ALL the time!
Favourite Bible Verse
Has to be Psalm 139 - my baptism reading and also on my tattoo along with the quote "He is not here, He has risen" (not from Psalm 139, but a brilliant quote to go with a lovely cross-tat!).

I will be able to do a direct recording from the desk for GOTG which has seemed to work fine when I have used it before.

Also can you let me know how many toms you drummer is using so I can sort in input list.

Thanks

Hi Tim, welcome to HMI. This is a great site. Take a look at the festival blogs on my page re acoustic stage. There's still room if you're interested in playing a 20 minute slot.
